Christmas Letter and Studio Update December 2020

Dear students and parents

And just like that we have come to the end of the first term of the year! I can't believe it is almost Christmas.

I wish all of you a Merry Christmas and a much better New Year 2021 in good health. 

My family and I will have Christmas dinner via Whats-up with our International family as usual and via zoom for the Canadian family this year. I am looking forward to having Christmas in July, outside in the sunshine, with everyone present.

Every year I pick charities to make a donation to in lieu of Christmas Cards. This year I chose Hope Okanagan in Vernon and the Women's Contact Society in Williams Lake. Both organizations support women in tough life situations.

 Studio Updates

Christmas Break 2020:
The studio is closed from December 19, 2020 to January 3, 2021 for the holidays. Regular lessons resume on Monday, January 4, 2021. You will receive a reminder the day before as usual.
If you need an extra lesson for exam or audition prep please contact me and we can set up times that work for both of us. 

Music Festivals in 2021:
Festival season is coming up quickly. I have been talking to the students about participation if they are ready to do so. Registration starts in the middle of January and more detailed instructions will come early in the new year. The festivals are taking place in Williams Lake, Vernon and Salmon Arm and will happen in March and April. All festivals are at least semi virtual this year but they will happen. ☺
