Happy Fall everyone

Lessons are going well and new music is being learned all around.  Students are preparing for festivals, exams and picking some pieces for December recitals and most importantly are having fun.  

Things are going well in the music studio.

At this point, all available lesson spots are filled and I can only accept students on a Wait List.  I apologize for that.  

I hope as the year progresses i will be able to offer a few more spots to waiting students.  

For aspiring singers there are still the Bumblebees Choir ages 5 to 9 and the Fire and Ice Choir ages 10 to 16 available.  New singers are accepted for the January to March 2023 sessions.  Please contact me if you are interested and I will give you the info to sign up for these groups.

Hello and Happy Summer
Angelkeys Music Studio is closed for  lessons from August 5 to August 31, 2022.  I will be back in the studio on September 6.  Emails will go out in early September to confirm all scheduled lessons.  

Here is an exciting opportunity for young singers starting in Fall. 

New Vernon Youth Choirs in September: sponsored by Vernon Proms and OACME (Okanagan Association of Classical Music Enthusiasts)
Bumblebees Choir: Director Angela Sommer 
Ages 5 to 9,  no audition necessary, Fridays from 5:30 to 6:15 pm at Peace Lutheran Church, 1204 30th Ave, Vernon, BC.
September 16 to Dec 9, 2022. 
Fire and Ice Choir:  Director Angela Sommer
Ages 10 to 16,  no auditions necessary,  Fridays from 6:30 to 7:30 pm at Peace Lutheran Church, 1204 30th Ave, Vernon, BC.
September 16 to Dec 9, 2022. 
Hope Sings! Choir:  Director Terry Logan
Mondays 4 to 5:30 pm from September 12 to December 9, 2022 
Auditions: Monday August 22, 2022 from 4 to 5:30 pm 
All auditions and practices at Peace Lutheran Church, 1204 30th Ave, Vernon, BC.
September 12 to Dec 5, 2022.

Canada West Music Festival 2022 Classical Voice Under 17

I am thankful, humbled, inspired and proud to have been part of the first ever Canada West Music Festival with my student Cassius Ford.  What a fine group of young performers from Saskatchewan, BC, and Alberta.  
We will take in a few more performances today and then return home to BC.  Thank you Saskatchewan for organizing the first Festival.
